GROW.Lab Membership Terms

Welcome to GROW.Lab.

These Membership Terms apply when you join GROW.Lab as a paying or trial member.

They explain how your membership, payments, cancellation and participation in the community work.

By joining GROW.Lab, you enter into an agreement with:

GROW is a Danish non-profit organisation.

1. What is GROW.Lab?

GROW.Lab is a community and practice space for people who want to grow with others and explore new ways of living, relating, working and creating.

Membership may include access to:

Guided practices
The GROW.Lab member community
Live experiments
Talks and events
GROW Workdays
Member content and resources
The GROW.Lab community platform

The exact programme, frequency and format may evolve over time as GROW.Lab develops.

Some events, programmes or experiences may require separate registration or payment. Where this is the case, it will be clearly stated.

2. Your membership

Your GROW.Lab membership is personal and may not be transferred to another person.

You are responsible for providing accurate information when creating your account and for keeping access to your account secure.

GROW.Lab is hosted primarily through Circle, and you may need to create or maintain a Circle account to access the community and certain membership features.

If you are under 18, you may only enter into a paid membership where the necessary consent from a parent or legal guardian has been obtained.

3. Free trial

New members may be offered a 14-day free trial.

Unless otherwise clearly stated before you join:

You will not be charged the monthly membership fee during the trial.
Your payment method will be registered when you sign up.
Your membership will automatically continue as a paid membership when the trial ends unless you cancel before the first payment.
The price after the trial is 169 DKK per month for the GROW.Lab Founding Membership.

You can cancel at any point during the trial to prevent the first monthly membership payment.

Any statutory right of withdrawal you have under applicable consumer law exists independently of the free trial.

4. Price and payments

The GROW.Lab Founding Membership costs:

169 DKK per month

Payments are processed through Stripe or another payment provider clearly identified at checkout.

The membership renews automatically each month using the payment method connected to your account until you cancel.

By starting a paid membership, you authorise the recurring monthly payments described at checkout.

GROW does not store your full payment card details. Payment information is handled through our payment provider.

If a payment fails, we may ask you to update your payment method and may temporarily restrict membership access until payment has been completed.

5. Founding Member price

If you join GROW.Lab on the Founding Membership at 169 DKK per month, that founding price remains yours for as long as your membership remains continuously active.

If you cancel your membership and later decide to return, we cannot guarantee that the Founding Member price will still be available.

Your new membership will then be subject to the price and terms offered at the time you rejoin.

6. Cancelling your membership

You can cancel your membership at any time.

There is no minimum commitment period beyond your current billing period.

When you cancel:

No further monthly membership payments will be charged.
Your membership will normally remain active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Your access to member-only areas of GROW.Lab and Circle will end when your membership ends.

You can cancel through the online membership/account functionality made available to you or through the same online platform through which the membership was entered into.

Ordinary cancellation is different from exercising a statutory right of withdrawal.

7. Right of withdrawal

If you join GROW.Lab online as a consumer, you generally have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from the date the membership agreement is concluded, subject to applicable Danish consumer law.

You may exercise your right of withdrawal through the withdrawal function made available through the relevant online interface or by sending us an unequivocal statement that you wish to withdraw from the agreement.

The statutory right of withdrawal is separate from your ability to cancel the membership going forward.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights available to you under applicable law.

8. Refunds

If you cancel your membership normally, payments already made for a current billing period are generally not refunded simply because you choose not to use the membership during the remainder of that period.

You will instead retain access until the end of the paid period.

This does not affect:

Your statutory right of withdrawal
Rights you may have if GROW fails to provide a service you have paid for
Any other mandatory rights under applicable law

If GROW terminates a paid membership for reasons unrelated to a breach by the member and removes access before the end of an already paid period, we will refund any amount required under applicable law and, where appropriate, the unused portion of that period.

9. A community built on participation

GROW.Lab is a shared community rather than simply a library of content.

By participating, we ask you to contribute to an environment where people can explore openly, disagree respectfully and take responsibility for how they affect others.

You agree not to:

Harass, threaten or deliberately demean other members
Discriminate against or target other members
Share unlawful, abusive or seriously harmful content
Spam or use the community primarily for unsolicited commercial promotion
Impersonate another person
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to another member's account or GROW systems
Deliberately disrupt practices, events or community spaces
Share another member's personal story, private communication or identifiable personal information outside the community without their permission

Specific community spaces or practices may have additional guidelines.

10. Personal sharing and confidentiality

GROW.Lab creates spaces where members may choose to share personal experiences.

We expect members to treat what others share with care and discretion.

However, GROW cannot guarantee that another member will keep information confidential. You should therefore make your own judgement about what you choose to share in community spaces, practices and conversations.

Where a practice or event has specific confidentiality agreements, these will be explained separately.

11. Community moderation

GROW may moderate community spaces and remove content that violates these Terms, our Community Guidelines or applicable law.

Where appropriate, we may give a member a warning and an opportunity to change their behaviour.

In cases involving serious misconduct, safety concerns, unlawful activity or repeated breaches, we may restrict, suspend or terminate membership access.

We will exercise this right reasonably and proportionately.

Termination of access does not limit rights that either you or GROW may have under applicable law.

12. Your content

You retain ownership of content you create and share in GROW.Lab.

By posting content within the community, you give GROW the limited, non-exclusive rights necessary to host, store, display and make that content available as part of operating GROW.Lab.

This permission lasts only for as long as necessary to provide the community and associated services, subject to technical backups and legal retention requirements.

Posting something inside GROW.Lab does not give GROW permission to use your personal story, photograph, testimonial or other member content for public marketing.

We will seek separate permission where this is required.

13. GROW content and intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, materials created by GROW — including texts, practices, videos, frameworks, designs, branding and other resources — belong to GROW or are used with permission from the relevant rights holder.

Your membership gives you access to these materials for your own personal participation in GROW.Lab.

It does not transfer ownership of the material to you.

You may not commercially reproduce, sell, distribute or republish substantial parts of GROW's materials without prior permission.

14. Practices and personal development

GROW.Lab may include conversations, reflective practices and experiences related to personal development, relationships, leadership and life.

Participation is voluntary, and you remain responsible for deciding what is appropriate for you.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, GROW.Lab is a community and personal-development offering and is not intended to replace medical, psychiatric, psychological, legal or other regulated professional advice or treatment.

If you need professional support, you should seek assistance from an appropriately qualified professional.

15. Events and programme changes

GROW.Lab is an evolving community.

This means that individual:

Events
Facilitators
Dates
Formats
Practices
Features
Community spaces

may change over time.

We may make reasonable changes as we learn what best serves the community.

We will not rely on this provision to make material adverse changes to an existing paid membership in a way that removes mandatory rights you have under applicable law.

Where a separately purchased event or programme has additional cancellation or refund terms, those terms will be presented before purchase.

16. Circle, Stripe and other providers

We use third-party services to operate parts of GROW.Lab, including:

Circle for the online community
Stripe for payment processing

These providers may also have their own terms that apply when you use their services.

Information about how GROW and our providers process personal information is available in our Privacy Policy.

17. Availability

We work to keep GROW.Lab available and functioning, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to Circle, live sessions, websites or other digital services.

Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, technical problems or circumstances outside GROW's reasonable control.

Where an interruption materially prevents us from providing a paid service, your rights under applicable law remain unaffected.

18. Changes to these Membership Terms

We may update these Membership Terms when GROW.Lab develops or when legal or operational requirements change.

Minor changes that do not materially affect your membership may take effect when the updated Terms are published.

If we need to make a material change that affects an existing paid membership, we will provide appropriate notice and will obtain consent or provide a right to end the membership where required by applicable law.

We will not use this provision to remove mandatory consumer rights or retrospectively change an agreement where this would not be permitted by law.
